Head over to The Simple Woman's Daybook Blog to participate!
Outside my window: the sun is finally starting to peek out from behind the clouds.
I am hearing: the tv chattering, traffic going by outside.
I am wearing: jeans and a long sleeve tee...feeling like being a bum today.
From the kitchen: vanilla Greek yogurt with strawberries and banana...yummy!
I am thankful for: Dad being able to loan us a car! Our water pump went out on our Aztek, and now something is wrong with the belt...thank God Dad is able to loan us his car so Rob can get back and forth to school and work!
I am going: to be staying at home for a while, until the car is fixed.
Noticing that: I always feel like I am taking one step forward and two steps back.
I am reading: Breathing Lessons by Anne Tyler. Just a book I got at the library sale a while back, but it is good! Go read it!
From the learning rooms: Rob is still doing amazingly well in his studies! I haven't been able to get to the book store much more, so I am a little at a stand still in my reading about my self discovery. For some reason, there isn't a lot of info on the web...guess I'm not main stream, huh?
On my mind: change is hard, especially when you don't know where to begin.
Quote for Thought: I need to remember this when I feel stuck or unsure about things...
"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
One of my favorite things: finding pretty beach glass in the endless sand on the beach. It's like the universe left a present, just for me to find :-)
I'm creating: I did get my free desktop finished for June...I hope to make a page soon if I can work up some creative juices...
Around the house: clothes to fold, dishes to wash after a cook out, more clothes that need to be washed...
A few plans for the week: i need to focus on getting my workouts in before anything else.
From my lens: This weekend was Memorial Day, so I made blueberry cobbler!
